Terms of Service

Last updated: June 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WealthPass (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

WealthPass is a personal wealth-tracking and digital legacy vault. It lets you record assets, liabilities, and beneficiaries while you are alive, and it is designed to release the information you choose to the beneficiaries you designate after your death is confirmed through the safeguards described below.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. The contents of your vault are encrypted with a key tied to your account. If you lose access to your account and your key cannot be recovered, your encrypted data may be permanently lost. You agree to keep your account information, beneficiaries, and allocations accurate and up to date.

4. Legacy and death-trigger feature

The Service includes an automated mechanism that may release your designated information to your beneficiaries. A release may be initiated by a report from a trusted contact or by prolonged inactivity. Before any release, you are given a cancellation window — for example, by confirming you are alive in the app or using a cancellation link. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Service is not a will, trust, or legal instrument and is not a substitute for a legally executed will or professional estate planning. You remain solely responsible for arranging a valid will and any legal formalities in your jurisdiction.
  • WealthPass does not provide legal, financial, tax, or estate-planning advice.
  • The accuracy and timing of any release depend on the information you provide, your check-in behavior, and third-party services such as email and SMS delivery, and we do not guarantee that a release will or will not occur at any particular time.
  • You are responsible for the consequences of the allocations and instructions you record.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Certain features require a paid subscription, billed at the price displayed at purchase (for example, $1.90 per year) through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription as provided in the Service. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access another user's vault, interfering with the Service's security or operation, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service to harm others. You may only add beneficiary or contact information that you are entitled to provide.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your own data), is owned by WealthPass and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WealthPass and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including any release or failure to release information. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WealthPass from claims and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
